My grandfather used to sharpen his used razor blades on the inside of a regular milk glass. This I decided to try. I took out a Feather blade that I had used several times, and a milk glass.
I held the blade against the wall on the inside of the glass and rubbed it quickly back and forth. took about. 20-30 rounds, flipped it over and took another 20-30 rounds on that side. And really, the blade was noticeably sharper! I now expect to get a few extra shaves out of the blade.
But nowadays the shaving blades are so cheap that I do not see the point of making this a habit, but it was fun to try 🙂
