I have now completed a shave with my Shick Injector, Type J (produced 1958-1964). It worked just fine 🙂 One can even buy new injector blades to this type of razors. Indeed all Injector blades from Shick fit all Shick Injector razors, old and new.
The shave was very good. I noted that it was very “forgiving” and I could put some weight on the razor without cutting in to the chin. On the minus side, it is quite light (lots of plastic), and is similar to a more modern “plastic razor” than a DE razor.
